I am having trouble with idler sprocket between governor and hydraulic pump getting hot. How does this get oiled so it won't get hot? Does anyone know where I could get an oil schematic for this tractor? Thanks for any help.

This is a better question for the JD area, but anyways. This idler is a known problem in some 620/630 tractors and not at all on other 620/630's? Some people have had Two Cylinder tractors since new and dodn't know the hydraulic pump or pto drives can be shut down when not in use to conserve HP and reduce wear. The simplest solution is to put a T in the oil pressure gauge port. Drill and tap the hydraulic pump housing then plumb a line to dribble some oil over this idler/shaft.
