Plow restoration

I am trying to restore an old plow that that i got from my grandpas place 10 years ago, the bolt on the bottom part of the plow plate are rusted and when I was trying to undo them one of them broke, are these bolts repaceable?, and if so where can I find some?, allso what is the best way to undo these bolts with out breaking them off? Thanks

Maybe you know this but many plow point bolts are left hand thread.

that is probley why i am twisting them off, thanks, I will have to watch that on my next project, what color are the old plows usually painted?

I think you are probably talking "plow bolts". They probably have a flat head with a square shank immediately under the head and set flush with the surrounding surface. If so, you can get them through Fastenal. See link below.

As to getting old rusted fasteners to come apart without breaking you can use lots of penetrating oil. But my preference for doing that though is with an oxy/acet torch. Heat the nut up cherry red and it should turn right off fairly easily.
