I am getting ready to restore my grandfathers first tractor, a 1940 Mccormick Farmall H.. I want to restore this tractor to as close to it was when he bought it new... It was set up with the dual fuel system.. I have the original head, manafold and carb that came of it when it was converted... What are the pros an cons to restoring it back to a dual fuel system??This tractor was overhauld a few years back and runs good the way it is now outside of a weak magneto.. Thanks for your input...

It may be worth a little more set up as original, but you won't be running it on kerosene or distillate anyway, except for perhaps a demonstration. Kerosene is too expensive, you can't buy distillate anymore. You didn't mention the shutters and associated fittings, you need those too.
