My ferguson TO20 stops running after about 5 minutes after start up it seems to run fine then just dies. thank's for any help

Make sure tha the gas tank is vented and not blocked. A friend bought a locking gas cap with an "O" ring seal, ran for 30 miles and stopped. The seal was removed no problems since.

My TO-30 did that untill I cleaned the trash out of the fuel tank and carburator. Could also be a sticking float or float valve in the carburator. Five minutes is about what it will idle on a carburator full of gas. Dave

Daryl-Sounds like maybe an electrical problem after heating up.

I rebuilt the carburator ,& charged the battery up and it seems to be running good now. Thank's for all your help guys! Daryl
