im own a john deere 60 and a g im trying to get there weight down so i can pull in a lower weight class if you have ne tips i would greatly appreciate it. thanks

im kinda new at the tractor pulling sport but i have a few things that may help depending on how much you wanna spend and how much work you want to put in, if you have cast iron wheels try to find some presses steel there much lighter if you dont plan to use it as a work tractor any moor than you can remove the pto shaft if it has a 3 point on it remove that depending on how much or how little you need to loose to drop a class you may want to remove the stock fuel tank and replace it with a smaller, and maby aluminum one these are a few thinks i was toald to do and they have helped me shed enough weight to drop into the lower class i hope it will work for you
