I just picked up an old 60's international 460 and really dont know too much about tractors. First off I would like to say that it starts and runs great, but there is a problem with a valve or something somewhere, because when I start it up and I have to immedately start raising and lowering the bucket and as soon as I stop using the hydrolics the tractor either labors and stalls or eventually over heats. I purchased it knowing that it did this, and the previous owner had no interest in fixing it after rebuilding the engine did not solve the problem. Any sugguestions would be greatly appreciated as this is my first tractor and im not very knowlegable about them, although I am very capable of fixing it.

Sounds like one of the valves are stuck pushed/pull one way or the other.

Try pullin/pushing on all the levers a few times and make sure they are in the center position. If one is stuck you will not be able to pull it easy. Those valves should trip back to center on there own but if one is stuck it will not and the can cause it to load the engine down.
