Cub Cadet 1517 - blades not cutting evenly/level

Hello. Does anyone know how to adjust a newer Cub Cadet 1517? I recently bought this machine with 65 hours on it. It works very well, except that it cuts unevenly. After measuring both sides of the machine, it appears there is about 7/8" difference in the cutting height between each side. Whenever I mow the lawn, of course, each pass leaves a trail of grass that is higher on one side and will sometimes scalp the grass on the other side, esp. while turning.

If anyone has any tips on how to adjust it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks alot.

Micah

Just a guess here, but I've seen at times where the blade has been removed to be shapened and then washers put back on wrong and that could be your problem. Worth a look see.

I have the same problem. There is an adjustment on the rear left corner of the deck but does not help. I have adjusted mine with precision by the book and it still does the same thing. Even put on new blades in case one was bent, no difference. I also bought mine used with low hours and am starting to think that this may be a design flaw and is why the previous owner got rid of it.
