starter won't turn, replaced cylinoid, hit switch cylinoid clicks, getting fire to all connectings all the way to starter. removed starter cable and used jumper from battery to starter, spins like brand new. put cable back, hit the switch, NOTHING. HELP, GRASS GETTING HIGHER EVERY DAY!!!!! !!!!! !!!!!

Sounds like you already found the problem, which is with the cable or cable connection. Somewhere you probably have a bad cable connection. I'm assuming the battery is ok because it worked fine when you used another cable. Is it six volts? Even if it is, to start from a 12 volt car battery and cut your grass while you are looking for the real problem you can just hook one cable from car battery to starter post and just touch the other one to a good ground on the tractor. If key is on, and if you have the tractor out of gear, you can easily start it this way and cut your grass. Be sure tractor is out of gear!! By going directly to the starter you bypass the coil and ignition and you won't hurt anything on the tractor.
