In the spirit of keeping everything original, I need to know the correct location of the amp and temp guages on a Ford Jubilee dash board. They were missing when I bought the tractor.

Here you go - this came off my 1954 NAA Rustbucket. It is the same as the Jubilee configuration.

Jubal Lee,
where did you purchase your gauges? I'm having trouble finding a black ampmeter. Thanks.

Maybe I should have said "as original as possible"! The ammeter that I have has a chrome ring around a black face. I noticed that Dan's Pix shows all three with black rings. Maybe he can help you.

Thanks very much, What is that between the guages and just above the steering wheel shaft? Mine has an empty hole there.

It is an optional dash light. It is just a metal cap with a slot cut in it facing the dash guages. It has a replaceable light stuck up in it that is wired into the light switch so it illuminates the guages (somewhat) when you turn on the headlights at night. Mine was rusted when I got Rustbucket, but I filled the pin holes in with JB Weld, sanded it smooth, then primered and repainted it with rustoleum auto primer and glass black. They make reproduction dash lights that look just like the real thing for about $20 or so, but I like to use authentic parts wenever possible (plus, I hate to throw anything away that can be fixed, repaired, or made usable again).

Good luck,
Dan

My owners manual shows them as amp on the left, temp in the middle and oil preassure on the right. All of them below the tack. The manual is for an NAA but it should be the same on a Jub since the Naa was just the next year up from the Jub.

Speaking of gauges, does anyone know of a 2 inch snap-in 'hole filler' to put in an old dash hole where a gauge used to be? Electrical knockout hole fillers do not go that big and do not look so good in a finished dash.

Why don't you put a gauge it the hole even if its a dummy. Even if its a dummy guage it would still look better the a plug or the open hole.
