Hydraulic issue on Loader

I'm having a problem with the hydraulics on the Farmhand F-10 loader on my M. The bucket wants to slowly drop on it's own. I've pulled the cylinder for the bucket, had it serviced(O-rings, etc.), I pulled the lever control area(Valve) and had that serviced too. Bucket still creeps down on it's own. Lever and Valve weren't tested when serviced so I may take them back and try and test them and look a little deeper. Should I be focusing on the lever valve? I tried swapping the loader and bucket hose connections to see it the loader itself would drop like the bucket did but no noticeable results. Any suggestions?

For info on Farmhand, give Allan in NE a shout on the tractor or IH board. He knows stuff like that.

First of all what kind of valve do you have?

I'm not sure what kind of valve I have. I've seen two valve names mentioned here, Gresen and Gensen. There are no markings of any kind on the control area. This loader is probably 40yrs old with all original parts except the pump on the PTO. Let me describe what it looks like. It's basically a single valve, single control mechanism.(It does have a small second lever to dump bucket---more on that later)
Main lever- Can be turned forward and back
Lever forward-Loader up
Lever back-bucket up
Lever(valve) pulled out-loader down
Lever(valve) pushed in-bucket dumped
--Regarding the second lever(dumps bucket). Don't know why it's there. Big lever runs everything anyway. Gonna try eliminating small lever. Hydraulic repair shop told me today that they couldn't test this lever/valve piece. Parts would be obsolete if they tried to rebuild. Here's what they did to it...
Quad seal, O-ring, disassembled and polished spool, resealed.
Sorry I couldn't answer your question of type.
I guess at this point I'd just like to know it's un-repairable before I plunk down money on a new two valver. More thoughts, questions welcomed. Any ideas on how to learn valve type?

Do you have a casting number? Also most valves have spools selectively fit to the housing.
