FORD 640 clutch problem

I have a Ford 640 that when the clutch pedal is let out it is very jerky, especially when the clutch is let out slow. The tracor was in at a dealership to replace a hydraulic line when the previous owner had it and they didn't replace the clutch. The jerkyness is less pronounced when the engine is idled down. I am wondering if the clutch disk could be worn unevenly. When the tractor is underway the clutch doesn't slip at all while under load. When the tractor was purchased, the clutch would grab slightly in reverse when the pedal was fully depressed and I am wondering if the previous owner ran it too long with the clutch out of adjustment. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

If the clutch peddle is adjusted correctly (I think it is 1" free play and 7 1/2" height), then the clutch is either worn or oil soaked or both!

Sounds like you may need to split it ...
