I work at a Chevy dealership in a small town in Alabama, and being a guy that is willing to tackle anything said great when the county brought us a tractor to fix the A/C on. We have narrowed it down to 2 reasons the A/C does not work. Reason 1, there is a leak in the system somewhere. Reason 2, the compressor clutch never kicks in. This is the first time in a long time something has just blown my mind. And it's not diagnosing the problem that is hard, it's finding a relevant service manual that would have wiring diagrams for the A/C system. Does anyone know of any common issues on these A/C systems, common leaks? And does anyone know where I can get ahold of some wiring diagrams for the system? All New Holland wants to give me is parts catalogs.

My 8160(same tractor-one size smaller) Will leak out the 134 gas too. Dealership said too make sure too run AC at least once a month to keep seals lubed. Well , that doesn't work! If you ever get a good solution, please post it on here.

You can buy New Holland service manuals direct from New Holland. You can probably specify only the cab/air and electrical sections if you wish. Call 1-800-635-4913 or follow the link.
