If its a liquid then it is probably just peroxide. An ounce or two per cell will sometimes restore a bad battery, but just go to Wal-Mart and buy a bottle for around a buck. All it is is two molecules of oxygen and it won't hurt your battery.Might bleach your hair since it is an strong oxidizer.lol. A much better approach to try saving batteries is to buy a "Battery Minder" .If it just a sulfated cell then the charger will restore the sulfate back into solution. They are about $49 at Nothern Tools. I have had some luck restoring a few batteries with the one I bought.

Probably a small pile of regular aspirin tablets, ground up, allowed to melt in a bit of water, stirred, then installed into a small bottle, with some battery acid, and sold to gullible people, trying to avoid buying a new battery! Face it--if yer battery is more than 2-3 years old, in yer garden tractor, pitch it and go buy a new one! If in yer car or truck, give it 3-4 years, then follow the advice given above! Cheers: Rustyj Note: Those quick fixes tend to make the seller better off financially, but don't do anything for your battery, and they shrink yer wallet, so yer wallet comes out easier!
