Can anyone out there share any tricks for removing front wheels from the hubs that are rusted on ? Both are stuck fast to the hubs with rust. The lug nuts came off easy enough but I don't think the wheels have been off since 1956. Its a CASE tractor VAI of that year.

I've been spraying Liquid Wrench, applying a a little heat with a propane torch, and banging with a small sledge hammer. Even lowered the jack and banged away. I don't want to damage the rims though. The ole' girl doesn't want to give them up. Any ideas short of dynamite ?
Thanks,

Thanks. I like both ideas and will give 'em a try tomorrow. Maybe the penetrating oil will penetrate while she sleeps.
Yeh, Old, she runs. I'll save that trick for last. I know a good stretch of bumpy road.

You don't need a bumpy road you just need to turn hard one way then hard the other way and just keep that up till they brake loose. BTDT to many times and so far it has worked every time.

Well if it runs, jsut loosen the lugs and drive it around till you start to here them clicking. Then they will probably pop right off. I have had to do that more the once
