You are talking about the cap, with a single plug wire nipple that sits over the coil, and is held on by 4 screws, right?

Have you checked to see if one for and H-4 mag from, say an "A" or a "B" will fit... I can't recall for sure, but it seems to me they may be the same. The CNH dealer should have or be able to get a cap for the "A" or "B", if they will fit.

Yes that is the one with the single plug.
I tried the CNH dealer , but they just laugh about it,they are not interested in looking for one.

The old IH number for the cap is 47449 DAY.

I wonder if that is a good number, or if they could cross it?

Must not be much of a dealer, it is the same cap that goes on the H4 Mag. The H4 mag has 2 caps, one for the plug wires and the one over the coil and it is the same as the H1 mag you need the cap for.
