I have just purchased a 4HP hopper cooled International famous S/N RC196E. I was just wondering if these are younger or older than the tank cooled versions or if they where made side by side sort of thing. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Looks like yours came off the line at the Milwaukee Works in 1913.The tank cooled version had a RA or RB prefix and came out of Milwaukee the same years. I don't remember what the suffix letter means. Kevin
