The MS carb TSXU-838 is a universal TSX carb and that is why the U after TSX. There were several TSXU carbs made for many applications.

Prestolite parts catalog shows the IAD-6003-2J distributor as a 4 cylinder for J.I. Case applications. IAD-6003B for Cockshutt/Hercules and IAD-6003D Hercules. IAD-60021C dist. was for a 6 cyld. Worthington pump. Distributors may have been close enough and switched from another engine?

I'm not saying George is wrong but just stating that is what manuals show from the carb and dist. numbers. Have no idea on the block number but I bet George does.

My guess would be a hercules G 2000 , parts are

somewhat scarce. I have one apart now and need

governor parts and pierce no longer services

that one .I"m trying to find enough pieces to

build one . I think rings , bearings , and

gaskets are the only things available for it.
