I've got a Linamar/Onan 990LX 24 hp two cylinder engine that powers the fan on my air seeder. It starts right up like it should, but after about 3 minutes it starts to slop oil out of what I assume is some sort of a refief valve on the back side of the fuel pump. Replaced fuel pump with a known working one. No fix. What now? Any suggestions welcome.

Is it a camshaft-driven "automotive-type" fuel pump, as opposed to a diaphragm pump operated by crankcase pressure pulsations?

If it is a cam-driven fuel pump, the oil is probably leaking out of a "weep hole" that is there to let gas leaked through a ruptured diaphragm leak externally, instead of into the crankcase.

If the fuel pump you "subbed" does NOT leak on another engine, I would suspect a clogged-up crankcase ventilation system, or perhaps the engine simply has massive blowby from bad piston rings/cylinder walls from eating too much field dirt. We used to see that all the time on engines on granular applicators.

Solved the problem!!! Collapsed bresther hose. Always look for the simplest solution I guess.
