My baler engine will run fine for about an hour and then run mostly on one cylinder with the other one kicking in once in a while. I put MMO in the gas thinking it was a sticking valve. Still does it, always the same cylinder. I also put in new Autolite plugs. Anybody got any ideas? TIA. It runs fine again after it cools off.

The Gold-Leaf-Deere is in the southwest corner of Indiana.

I would check valve clearance, I have seen this happen when a engine gets hot and the valve length grows enough to keep it from seating, I happen to have a 2 cylinder inline Wisconsin that ran good when I put it in the barn that You can have for $75.

The coil on 2 cylinder engines DO NOT ground thru the case. Each plug wire is one end of the high tention winding on the coil. The coil may be breaking down in the heat and the side the cylinder that miss is shorting to ground. This will still let the other cylinder fire. You did not say what type ignition you have but I think a coil will fix your problem. If a Magneto, Check out magnetoparts "DOT" com

Check the spark when it's HOT. Could be a bad condensor or coil that's heat sensitive.
