I recently aquired in a box an entire Clinton small air cooled engine brand new. I do not know the history, but it has never been assembled. I opened all the packages and it appears to be complete without a spark plug or assembly specs. It has a 2.375 bore and the fuel tank is plastic so that might be a clue as to how old it is. There are no obvious markings on the block or sheet metal as to model number or horse power. Is there any way to identify what it is and to get some assembly spes (ie: ignition stator gap, govener assembly pic, etc). Thanks so much

This might be from a small engine training course that at one time you built an engine during the training. You saw this corses at one time in Popular Mechanics and Popular Science mags. 40 or 50 years ago. Am I dating myself.
