I have an Onan engine Model #CCKA-S/35221
SER#. 1790-454362. This engine is on a DC/225amp

hi, i have the same welder a lincwelddc2253as. you can get online parts info for any lincoln welder made at lincolns web site:www.lincolnelectric.com you need to have the serial # and code# off of the data plate on the machine. go to the top right of the page click on services that will take you to the parts navigator you will click on that find your code# and the info will pop up. also their is a page for owners manuals online the manual for your machine is not online but get the # for the manual and call lincoln electric and the will mail you hard copies of the owners and parts manuals. lincoln also has a great tech support service phone line.that phone # is on the web site.precise engine service in oregon has all the onan manuals and stock most of the parts, web address:www.perr.com good luck if you need help feel free to e-mail me at welder7789@aol.com i have worked some on old lincoln welders and make my living with lincolns maybe i can help k.erickson

Red, I have similar problem, am looking for place where I can find piston, rings, rods, and hdgskts. I had a rod break on my B43M and would like to avoid local implement dealer if possible.

i just got a parts and service manual for my onan ccka from precise engine repair in oregon. the web address is-www.perr.com they were very helpful . be warned that parts are very expensive, i paid 319.00 for a crankshaft and the gasket set is 60.00 also this motor is way different inside than a briggs or kohler for example the main bearings (also 60.00) are a slip in fit you need to put them in the freezer and slide them in making sure they are lined up with the oil holes

The parts are still available for tat engine have have 2 of the same welders you are talking about and i just did a check on certain parts and they are outrageously priced compared to a simular Brigg or tecumseh engine. Unfortunately the parts have to come from an onan dealer of some sort. Hope this helped

I believe parts are still available.
Look in the yellow pages under small
engines. I just ordered parts for
a rare 4-cylinder onan generator.
I have a CCKB 2 cyl engine on a wood splitter.
These engines were made in the 70's.
Good luck.

I just picked up a 12.5kW genset with a 4cyl inline air cooled Onan. Is that similar to the one you have? If so, do you have any good sources for technical and owners manuals for such a machine or is my only source a Onan dealership?

Thanks,

Chris
