I just rebuilt the magneto for my wisconsin tjd model which is a 2 cyl.engine.
The problem is that there is no mark on the flywheel but there is one on the magneto gear.
soes someone can give me a tip to time this old engine?

Thank you very much

I didn't reply to your post last week because My wisconsin manuals are for 1 and 4 cyl engines, The mag timing instructions are the same for 1 and 4 cyl so with luck it may work on your 2 cyl.
The flywheel should have an X cast into the end of one of the fan vanes which you line up with a mark on the top center of the flywheel air shroud.
You must remove the flywheel air screen to see these marks.
The X mark on the mag gear should be in the center of the inspection hole in the crankcase.
Hope this works, good luck.

You will need to snap the impulse on the mag or the spring will keep moving the gear when you try to install it
