I am still collecting information, if you have a single cylinder it is probally a 5 hp. They were manufactured in minneapolis mn around 1915. I am trying to get mine running, but it has been disassembled and I am not sure how the gas line runs or the speed control lever. I also need to make a coil, but would like to see a working one first. I can scan and send you a copy of the 10 page book I have, but it only provides limited information as it is more of an advertisement. My E-mail is dad@fallsnet.com, my home # is 320-632-0820 if you want to chat about them.

I have some info, but am looking for more myself. The Woolery gasoline engine was invented by my
great grandfather Horace Woolery. He also
invented many railroad maintenance items. I have
alot of patents and other info that I have not
gone through yet.

Ron I just recently aquired a Woolery engine. I need some insite on the timer mechanism . Mine seems to have been set up to run on an automotive coil which I have been told was wrong , and that it should have used a buzz coil. Do you have any info you can help me out with. I'll try to send a photo to your email . Is the oval shaped water hopper unusual?

Preston

I have an uncle who has an original singe cylinder woolery engine in good working order, and we are trying to find more info on them. Any response would be greatly appreciated. If you could e-mail with anything known I would be eternally grateful
