Toy steam engines

I was at a yard sale Saturday and bought a toy steamer with all attachments cheap. Has anyone else seen these? It came with the engine, driveline, table saw, grinding wheel, punch press, and buffer. I thought it would be neat to mount on a board, hook up all the belts, and take to shows. Guess I'll try to get it working in the next few days. I know it's just a toy, but it's kind of cool and thought you stationary engine lovers might get a kick out of it. Fireman

Have seen these running at threshing shows,, one fellow has an entire shop and circus made in the 30s,, the boiler runs on electrical current. Fascinating to see all the equipment in motion. John in Nebr.

I have several of these steam engines.I have one Wilesco but the rest are Jensen.I prefer the older Jensens mounted on a wood base.Once in a while it's nice to play with engines that you don't need a hoist or bucket loader to move.If you could e-mail me a photo of yours,I will try to ID it.Have fun.

Mine is a LineMar, made in Japan. It's not the highest quality, but I only gave eight bucks for it. Here's a picture. I have seen the Wilesco engines on ebay, they look top of the line! There was a tin boat with a Wilesco on there the other day, price was around $500-600 dollars. Good luck, Fireman
