Are you talking about the hand operated one mounted on a plank, or the Marvellette series of pumps?

It has a place for a handle, however it is missing. The upper casting has an air chamber and the top cap has two bosses that receive guide rods There is a casting that slides up and down on them and that casting is connected to the center pump rod making it pump up and down. All that is connected by two rods to two large wheels below, one with gears. The large gear is driven by a small gear which has a large pulley mounted on the opposite side. I guess a pic would have been simpler

It sounds like you're describing either a windmill pump, or an electric motor replacement for a windmill pump my neighbor has, I'm workin on talkin him out of it.
Deming has a web site, www.demingpump.com, and they might be able to provide you some help. There are a couple companys making replacement parts and leathers for these pumps, you can find them by doing a search for pump leathers on a search engine like google.
