Old Fairbanks engine

Ok yall don't laugh i'm not a computor person
I picked up a fairbanks eng and don't know what i got the name plate almost unreadable what i can make out is this The Fairbanks ok made in USA B.D. B35?32 ??450??23??
The OK is in a square It has BULL DOG casted on the sides of the water chamber it has two spoked
flywheels one on each side facing the head of the eng it has a flat belt pulley on the left side . all i need to keep it org. is a carb. and a ford box buzz coil and springs for the govenor. it had a ford model T carb. and coil would that be org? The govenor is a 500 rpm ball type that actuates the throttle. it has a 3 brush delco generator I don't think this org.Its runnable but leaks comp.it had a coiled rope like head gasket
I made one from 1/8 asbestos seams to work fine
but its not org . any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

From what I know the Bulldog was sold by the Fairbanks company of New York, not related to Fairbanks-Morse. It was actually manufactured by the Bates and Edmonds Motor Company of Lansing Michigan. I will do some more research to find out the original mixer and ignition system. Sounds like your engine was " made to run" using whatever parts were available at the time.

Thanks for the info Will. I never thought of another company with the name Fairbanks.

I have an updated number if it will help you with the research. Itis B35832. The type is a B.D. and the rpm is 450. I am not sure if the HP is just 2 or 2.something.

If you could give me an idea on where to search, I would be most grateful.
