Hi every one,

I have a Briggs&Straton 3.5 hp push mower. Every time I lift up the front to turn around it starts smoking then it stalls and i can here bubbles forming in the carb. Then when I took off the air filter there was oil in the carb and it was running out the muffler. It has good compression and runs great under a load. Whats wrong?

Oil overfilled? If the cylinder faces backwards, being overfilled could definitely dump oil onto the back of the piston and make a big mess.

Thank you very much!

I'll go down right now to check the oil level. By the way nice web site.
