I hope you folks can point me in the right direction. I've used the John Deere and Ferguson Forums extensively in the past and they have been extremely helpful. My newest project is a little different and I've jumped into it in total ignorance. I have a Montgomery Ward Electric Plant not sure of the vintage but would guess 40s or 50s. Mice have chewed up and just about destroyed the wiring and consequently I need a wiring diagram and or owners manual of some sort. It looks like I'm going to need a few parts also but would like to know what it is I'm looking at before I start hunting. The plate on the side reads Montgomery Ward Powerlite Electric Plant Model 64MX4934A-1 Serial No. 66 298616 I don't know who made the motor but it is a single cylinder air cooled unit with a 12 Volt System. The generator is Single Phase, 1000 Watt 115 Volts and either 5.7 or 3.7 Amps (couldn't tell for sure) Gen No. 275324 Gen Data 5017 ??? Any help or direction you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Bob

Put the post you have here on sparkarcs, which is one of Harrys forums. Prompt replies a certainty.
