Depends. I need an engine to fit into an old Wards (Allis Chalmers). It was a 7 horse cast iron. Is it vertical or horozontal engine? Electric start? What part of the country are you in? My tractor is the Sim-1267A, used a Briggs model 19 with starter/generator combination. I could rebuild if I find a good Crankshaft. If yours could I am interested. Bob

Sounds good but which crank is important. Is it a 19 model engine? did it have takeoff on both ends? Bob

Geoff; I am keeping your email so I can get back to you. I leave for Seattle in the morning and will be gone about 10 days. I will check on the crank but my book shows the Model 14 (may be yours please look for a tag) and the 19 use the same crank. If so I will buy and pay freight. will get back to you, Bob
