I have the illus. parts book for the A2100-2117 and it is dated May, 1961 so it was probably made before that..Will send you the illus. parts list for $5.00 which incl. S & H. If interested e-mail me..Roe

My father sold them in the mid fifties. We had a Clinton outboard even..... terrible thing. They seemed to disappear in the sixties. We were a distributor for them and serviced them. We sold our stock of parts 35 years ago or so. It's been years since I've heard of them. They were displayed along with others at a Coudersport, PA chainsaw carnival in about 1956 or so. I think I was ten at the time. I wish I could help more.

I run a landscaping business and today a customer in his 90s said he had a generator he wanted to give me. It was in the back of his garauge and covered with boxs. It turns out its a Clinton. I had never seen a engine called by this name. I took it home and checked the oil and it was right on and very clean. I put gas in the tank and tried to start it. Nothing happened. I checked the plug and it was clean and had good spark. I sprayed carb cleaner in the carb and it fired right up. But then it would die because no gas was getting to the carborator. Can some one tell me if i need to repair the fule pump or what. write back anyone
