Does anyone out there have any good ways or tricks to remove the flywheel off the tapered shaft of a VH4D,VF4D,or a V465D etc? Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Joe Browning

1. Soak it with penetrating oil for several days. 2. Buy/borrow a big puller (steering-wheel puller type is easiest to find) & put a goodly amount of pull on it. 3. Hit it HARD with a soft hammer (book says babbit, I use copper because that's what I have).

I have heard of people using a tourch but don't recommend it.

Thanks, It took a lot of work, but after I got a large enough puller and a large enough hammer it finally came off.
