We dug the generator out of Mothers shed, Dad used it for backup power for Ham type radios, he stoped using it years ago. Now, I want to use it but there is no spark, I don't find any brand name on the engine. I would like to find a repair manual for the engine or the whole gen set. The generator info is:
Wards Powerlite
Model# 64mx4934a-1
ser# 66.298655
115 AC volt 8.5 amp 1000 watt
with secondary charging for the starting battery @ 15 DC volts 10 amps
the gen # is 276069 and gen data # 5017 Any info and help getting this old unit up and running would be a great help
Thanks Raycr

Go to www.enginads.com/sprkarcs.cgi some one there should be able to help you. If you can provide more info about the engine or a picture chances are good that someone there could help you or point you in the right direction.
