Hello Everyone,
I'm now the proud owner of one of these engines. I need lots of help on this one. Any information and manuals, parts breakdown, etc are needed. Any market for these engines? Anyone know what they are worth? Are any of the parts interchangeable with other Wisconsin Engines? I understand these came off of a Military Generator. Any other application? All input is appreciated. Thanks Joe

It's a 32 cu. in. four cylinder engine, used by the military to power 3kw gensets, pumps, blowers etc. Several manufacturers including Teledyne, Continental and Chrysler Outboard. Nominally rated at 6hp, a few simple mods pertaining mostly to the carb can bring the actual output closer to 20hp. HP is choked by the fuel and air supply, and limited by a lack of pressure lube to a few vital points in the engine. Replacement parts available from Saturn Surplus. Check out the Surplus Engines group on Yahoo. They are mostly ultralight flyers, and several folks there really know their stuff.
My interest is in running one of these in a Cub Cadet 122 frame!

Could this be one of the engines they called a military standard, which were sort of universal plug and play replacement power? Gene

Would that be from the military 10K generator set. The cylinders stick almost strait out to the side?

Joe; Is this one of the 4 cylinder inline engines? Until this summer (when one of my friends picked one up) I hadn't even heard of one. Cute little engine. Mounted on a 3" trash pump BTW.
