Hello all, I am new to the stationary engine thing I usually mess with tractors. I was out at a farm Monday and noticed a old caterpiller stationary enging laying in a pile of other stuff. It was over on its side so I figure they don't want it or it is in pretty bad shape. What and where do I look for to try and identify it? And how is the price and availability for caterpiller parts. I am going to try and get it really cheap so even if its not going to be fixed anytime soon by me it will be better tooken care of. Thanks for any and all help
