I've got an Onan 18 HP twin on my Case/Ingersoll, and have no idea how to adjust the carb. There are two screws on the back of the carb, one on the "coil" side of the engine which has a spring on it, and another on the "breather" side of the engine which has an O-ring on it, as it penetrates through the fuel bowl portion of the carb. I'm assuming the one on the breather side is the high speed one, but really can't figure out for sure what is what. Can someone tell me what the adjustment procedure is, how many turns out on each screw, etc?

Hi Bob The screw with the o ring is the ajustable main jet, method, turn screw out two turns then get it on full load and turn in (or up) untill the engine starts to die, then out till it runs smooth. The other one is the idle jet ,On tick over turn in until engine loses revs ,then out for even tickover
