I was at an auction the other day and one of the things they sold was a 25KW generator powered by a little IH 4 cyl. engine, all mounted on a towable cart. The whole setup went for just $220, which floored me. Unfortunately, I was caught flatfooted and was not the buyer. I also had no way of knowing whether it actually worked, although the engine ran beautifully.

Did I miss a fantastic bargain, or is this normal. I'm comparing to the price of much smaller generators that are more portable, but also don't have near the capacity.

I sure do wish that I had seen this generator. If it was all together and had the possibility of generating I am sure that it would have been worth that much and more. I wish that someone on this page would offer one of like specs, I would surely be interested. A couple of years ago there was a generator advertised that had an 8N engine on it for $1000.00 I would have loved to have purchased it . Have a good one
