Briggs and straton engine won't start

I have a late seventies briggs and straton engine on a tiller i just replaced the magneto or coil the points and condensor before that I would turn the engine over with my hand holding the plug wire and I would not get shocked. After replacing everything from above I am getting a pretty good shock from the plug wire after turning over the engine but I cannot find a plug not even a new one to produce a spark.

If you have the plug connected to the wire but the plug is not touching the engine the plug will not spark. make sure the threads of the plug are touching a bolt or some part of the engine block then turn the engine over. You should see a spark then
