Link

and>Link

thats>Link the COMPLETE teardown manual, with every spec you ever wanted to know. if you need any help, feel free to email me, i just finished rebuilding one of these engines (out of a 1962 clark clipper forklift). forklift places are the best parts sources for these engines.

thanks another doug for the nice words on this engine. i plan on using it in a generator, and reliability is paramount!

Ralph, Head bolt torque is 35-40ft.lbs for the 3/8" studs, 70-75 for 7/16" studs. Y-112 should have 3/8 head studs. Valve tappet clearence is .012 cold on intake and exhaust. Points are set at .020 Crankcase capacity is 3.5qt plus 1/2qt for new filter. All info is quoted from my Continental instruction manual. Good luck.
