Dear All, just a message re ACO Trucks. It should be ACCO Trucks.ACCO=Australian Constructed Cab Over. Designed in the 1960's by Internatial Harvester for the Australian Army in a 4WD "Cab-Over" (forward control style). The ACCO nameplate was soon made in a variety of models, including light-weight RWD 6 cylinder models through to V8's sold farmers, truckers and construction companies. The ACCO nameplate lives on as an Australian built IVECO, now that International Harvester no longer exists in Australia. If you would like to see these interesting trucks visit these websites. www.4wdonline.com/International/ACCO.html for the history of these vehicles or visit www.iveco.com.au and search "ACCO" to see how the range looks today. Regards from Michael in Melbourne, Ausralia

Does anybody have some pictures of an ACCO? What does it cost to run one of these beauties privately, full licence? If anybody could help me with this that would be great. Thanks

Janwillem, if you would like to see the current models of ACCO trucks go to the Australian website, www.iveco.com.au

Click on to "Products" and view the Picture Gallery section or view the direct link to the image below.

To have a look at the early models have a look at the website mentioned in my original post.
