How do you know what way to turn the pulley to attempt to start this engine? What spark plug is recommended? How do you know if the spark is "HOT" enough ? HELP, Thank You!

Flywheel on left side turns clockwise. Spin the wheel, not the pulley. I believe it is 1/2 pipe thread plugs on them. Champion X, Champion A25, Autolite 3096, or Motorcraft F11. Let us know how it turns out. Good running engine!
