I just got my first Hit and Miss engine the other day at a auction. It is a 1918 Economy 1 1/2 hp. And to be up front with you all that is about all I know about it. I had it running yesterday and noticed the mag was moving back and forth. I discovered that there were only two bolts holding the mag and they were getting ready to fall out. I took the mag of and found that all 4 holes were stripped of there threads. Is there any way I could fix this? Taping it out looks kind of scary because there it very little metal to work with. Plus it is soft metal. I was maybe thing of filling it in with something and then re-doing it. Any idea's would be great! Thank you very much!

Can you put a heli-coil in it? Is it an old Webster mag? Or a Wico?
