Ive come into ownership of the 5 HP stationary engine that used to run my great grandfathers blacksmith shop. I havnt been able to check it over real good yet but its in fair condition. How and where can I find info on how it used to work, fuel, timing etc. I would like to restore it and get it running. I breifly looked for a serial number tag but didnt see one. It clearly states its a 5 HP. Where would the ID tag be?

For an owners manual contact Starbolt at Starbolt4u@aol.com. The serial number should be on top of the hopper toward the front of the opening. There should be a small square a couple inches long with a number stamped in it. Sometimes they are hard to read due to wear.
