I was given a little piston pump that appears to be McCormick Dearing by the cast emblem on the cylinder- a sideways diamond with "McD" inside. It is a flat belt drive, and there is a small mounting pad, but looks too small for an electric motor, and certainly too small for a stationary gas engine. I see no indication of a date cast, or model ID, and was wondering if any else happened to have some info on this one, or where I should look on it to find some other identifier. I did also recently pick up a Meyer pump too, similar piston style, but a much larger flat pulley. I am guessing this one to be a model "45", as several different pieces have that as part of the cast part number. This one too has what appears to be a very small mounting base. I would be curious as to an estimated date of manufacture on both pumps.
