I am looking for information on a stationary engine powered old fashioned ice cream freezer. I would like to find one that will freeze approximatly 2 gallons at a time. Any info on this subject would be appreciated

Leahman's, who provide non-electric supplies for Amish have several different size ice cream makers, including Whites. They even have a 5 gallon one set up with a stationary engine. Pricey though.

Dennis, I'd suggest an email to Larry Trammel in NC. (isellengines@aol.com) after a look at his photo-album page (link below). He sells engines, freezers and complete set-ups as well as parts to make your own. The venerable White Mountain Ice Cream Freezer Co. is still in business and, while a bit pricey, probably is the best freezer made. Good Luck!
