Hay, I am a small engine collector looking for information on Wisconsin engines, and their dates of manufacture. I have several, and have narrowed down their time frame by using lists of the years the different models were manufactured, but would like to be able to pinpoint an exact year for the engines I have. I also know of several other collectors seeking the same information, so any that could be given would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Most lists end in 1959, and re-start in the 1980s. Mine came from the factory in Memphis a few years ago. The gentleman there said that a lot of documentation was missing from teh 1960's and 70's, "it was a rough time". Maybe a good distributor like the when mentioned above can fill in the gaps.

Hello Dave, Your best bet would be to call the factory. Their phone number is 800-922-5632. Ext #6. Ask for Hike. He is very good at establishing the year that engines were made. One other way would be to review some of the earlier posts. This forum has several individuals that are loaded with knowledge about Wisconsin Engines. Hope this helps, Benjamin J. "Joe" Browning
