I`v got my F&G engine to fire but I`m having a hard time getting the carb figured out. Seems to have a carb bowl vent that wheezes gas out the side of the main frame. Certainly doesnt seem normal. Can anyone enlighten me a bit?

According to the tag, its a carburator made by Ford Motor Co. Model NH. Not Ford-New Holland as in Farm equipment. My apologies for not being more descriptive.

Its on a F&G ( Fitzhenry & Gupthill ) engine. About 2 hp, enclosed crank, vertical, water cooled. Four cycle, I bought it at a show couple weeks ago. I`m assuming the carb is original to the engine. Carb is giving me greif so im looking for someone with knowledge on that model.

Took a breif look at the Enginads site last nite and expect to put a coherent post there soon. Thankyou for the good direction. In the mean time I`ll keep cranking the F&G and maybe have a brainstorm as to whats going on that shouldnt in the carb. Thanks again, John
