I bought a amanco 3 mule stationary engine, this is my first one so a bit of learning to be done, the engine has"nt started as of yet. I"m not sure where the fault lies, but I would like to check out the Mag first, it"s a LV mag unit does any one know how to test this unit and what voltage it should be giving out.

It's ok got it sorted, a 6V bulb will show if the mag unit is working, also with a dial type multi meter you should see around 6V, if using a digitial meter , it can vary from 1V to 3V,
