Did I buy a Tecumseh?

Dear Gurus,

I just bought a swedish made Belos 2-wheel tractor, probably from -70's. It has 14 hp MAG engine, made in Switzerland. At least this is what reads on engine's type plate.

The manual anyhow claims MAG/ Tecumseh OH 160 as engine type.

I have my doubts about the Suisse origin:
All the bolts I have touched were inch sized and Switzerland is the most-metric country on this planet.
The ignition module is Tecumseh for sure.

Description:
- horizontal shaft, vertical cyl, air cooled, 4-stroke, single cyl, OHV
- 88x73mm = 453cm2 (type plate)
- looking from flywheel: carb is in the left, exhaust port pointing forward (away),
sparg plug is in the right side of cyl head.
- engine has a high, square shaped valve cover with breather tube
- there is a solid state ingnition module bolted with one bolt to (thin) flyweel cover, close to el starter.
- engine has electric starter on its right hand side (opposite to carb)
- oil pan is square box with drain plugs on both sides

Since I don't came across with old Tecumseh engines daily in this corner of the world, I have this question:

Is my MAG a license-manufactured Tecumseh?
This would probably help me when hunting the spare parts.

Sounds like you did buy a Tecumseh. Briggs & Stratton has factories in Europe, so I would not be surprised that Tecumseh does too. The module bolted to the flywheel cover is most likely the regulator rectifier for the charging system. The ignition module is a solid state type with no points to wear out. The bad part is they have been obsoleted many years ago. If it fails, good luck in finding another one.
