JD model E question.

Dad was working on the 1.5 hp model E and dropped the magneto.. And it broke the magnet into 2 parts.. It was cracked previously almost all the way through.. 2 questions.. Where can we find another magnet ? Or with the magnet holding itself together will it work still?
