I failed to mark the timing gears on my Hercules ZXB engine before I removed the camshaft and need instruction on how to put it back in time. I can see no marks on the gears.

Thanks,

Larry

Here's some ideas, if you can't find the marks, from the "N" board:

There are punched dots on the gears that you line up.On the crank gear the punch mark is in line with the key.

If the valves or in time with the crank you will need to find additional timing marks for the timing of ignition! On my zxa the flywheel has, SPK and TDC stamped in the flywheel in 2 locations, 1 is located on the front side of the flywheel and must be viewed through a hole in the rear engine support, the second one is stamped into the outter rim of the flywheel and I have no reference for it, I have no bellhouseing.
